General Information
NAD or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is a derivative of Vitamin
B3 also known as niacin, niacinamide or nicotinamide (form
soluble). NAD is used in more than 500 reactions, it plays a crucial role
in metabolism, cellular aging, DNA repair and
gene expression.
NAD intervenes vitally in two very important pathways in humans such as
They are the sirtuin and PARPS pathway. Essential in functions that have
influence on the aging process such as the synthesis of mitochondria,
apoptosis, autophagy, inflammation, intracellular and systemic signaling,
DNA repair, genomic stability and programmed cell death.
