General information: Vitamin B complex injection is a sterile solution for intramuscular or slow intravenous injection composed of vitamins that can be classified as belonging to the group of vitamin B complex.
Indications: In disorders that require parenteral administration of vitamins, that is, pre and postoperative treatment, when the requirements increase as in fever, severe burns, increased metabolism, pregnancy, gastrointestinal disorders that interfere with the intake or absorption of vitamins, diseases prolonged or debilitating, alcoholism and where other deficiencies exist. Warnings: Anaphylactogenesis can occur with parenteral thiamine. Use with caution. An intradermal test dose is recommended prior to administration in patients suspected of being drug sensitive. Precautions: the usual precautions for parenteral administration should be observed. Do not inject if precipitation occurs. Inject slowly intravenously. High concentrations should be diluted with injection of normal saline when given intravenously.
